The Shandonagh Junior team bowed out of this year's championship with a spirited performance against Moate All Whites last Saturday evening. Despite going behind early on the Shandonagh men refused to give up and battled the whole game. While Moate may have been the better team on this day, this outing will benefit the young players on the Shandonagh team as they become familiar with the high tempo level of football in the knockout stages and go forward improving and learning what is required to progress in the future. Well done to the team for a very good year and the great panel of players for the future of the Shandonagh mens teams.
